Terry Cartwright

TerryCartwrightPhoto.JPGTerry Cartwright qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant and Chartered Company Secretary in 1971. A successful business career followed as Head of Finance for major companies in the UK and several consultancy appointments. In 2006 he created DIY Accounting producing Accounting Software for self employed and small companies that use simple accounts spreadsheets to automate tax returns.

Terry Cartwright qualified as a Chartered Management accountant and Company Secretary and naturally followed a career in business. By the age of 25 he was already appointed Head of Finance for British Steel's Refractories Division and went on to hold several financial directorships for international companies.

Throughout the 1980's and 1990's he embellished his entrepreneurial spirit creating several successful businesses in the UK while developing expertise in accounting consultancy often designing and implementing new accounting software and financial systems for major public companies and banks in the UK.

In 2006, with time on his hands, Terry spent a whole year personally designing a comprehensive series of Accounting Software and Payroll Software packages written on simple accounts spreadsheets and created DIY Accounting. The unique feature of the product range being automated self employed accounts and company accounts using embedded tax accounting software that automate UK tax returns.
